I hope your interest in my site is for possible assignments. However, whatever landed you here, I'm thankful. After a successful career in the federal government as a computer specialist and network engineer (Cisco security), I now devote my time to my second passion, “photography".
I completed studies at the New York Institute of Photography (NYIP), and have studied at Prince George’s Community College in Maryland, and now at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. I have participated in workshops, short courses, and seminars offered by the Nikonian, the Atlanta Photojournalism Conference, the Nikon School, and BetterPhotos. I am a member of Sportsshooter.com and the Nikonian.
I have been fortunate enough to catch shots of the greats such as: John Thompson (former head coach of Georgetown University Basketball), Terrell Owens (wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys), Marvin Harrison (wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts), LeBron James (forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers), Rudy Gay (forward, for the Memphis Grizzles), Jim Courier, (tennis great), Steve Smith (wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers), Dell Curry (former Charlotte Hornets).
I was employed on assignment by Trinity College in Washington, DC providing sports photography, was recently employed by a National School Portrait Company providing sports photography, and now freelance for the Charlotte Weekly Newspaper in Charlotte, NC, also, providing sports photography. I also provide group and private lessons in camera operation and photography.
I have always utilized the Nikon system, however, I view cameras as a tool, and try not to get caught up in the name game. I am currently a full time photographer, and Nikon Pro (NPS). Although I own and operate a fully functioning portrait studio, I tend to shoot more location photography.
So, be assured that you have located a full time, fully trained, well-equipped photographer to meet your photographic need. Contact me at:

Above are my currently used tools. Not shown is the Nikon D60 (with the 18-55mm and 55-200mm) lens. I use the D60 when I need to go light, and the 18-55 and 55-200 covers a large range and are very compact. My anticipated upgrade in the coming year will be the addition of the Nikon 400mm f/2.8 lens.
